This comprehensive project includes a multi-use ADA trail (walking & biking) with trail head and ADA parking , community garden, new picnic tables, stage, the installation of a playground, new basketball court with protective chainlink fencing and side bench. Additionally, we are restoring concrete wall sections under the shelter and creating a mural that highlights community spirit and local heritage. As part of a partnership with the Clinton County Historical Society, we are also committed to preserving and restoring the historical train depot and pole barn, turning the buildings into a museum and community hub for events and activities. Christmas in Victorian Plattsburg

Where Victorian Charm Meets Christmas Magic

Plattsburg Community Association and the City of Plattsburg are partnering to create Christmas in Victorian Plattsburg, a heritage tourism initiative that transforms the community into a Christmas destination. Rooted in the town’s Victorian charm and the legacy of Santa Claus Shaver, the project will bring history to life with carolers in period dress, horse-drawn carriage, and storefronts aglow with holiday cheer. A major highlight will be the creation of a drive-thru light display in Perkins Park, offering families a dazzling and immersive holiday tradition. Fireman's Park

Where Nature, Community, and Harmony Come Together

The Fireman's Park Revitalization project aims to transform our beloved park into a more beautiful, functional, and inviting space for the entire community. This comprehensive initiative includes an updated picnic and gathering area, perfect for family outings and community events. A new landscaped creek will be created, controlling the spring water to offer a visually stunning experience while eliminating marshy areas. To enhance accessibility, new sidewalks will be laid, and a bridge will be constructed over the creek to seamlessly connect both sections of the park. Additionally, a botanical section featuring wildflowers will be added, along with extra benches for visitors to relax and enjoy the natural beauty. This project is a testament to our commitment to enhancing community spaces, fostering a deeper connection with nature, and providing a harmonious environment for everyone to enjoy.
